Outfit 018
Today I have a comfy, cosy winter outfit for you all because it’s just that time of year when I want to hibernate inside my clothes and never come out. It can be a challenge keeping things cool whilst still doing this, so this is one (very Western) interpretation.
Outfit 017
This week’s outfit is a little more chilled than last week’s. I’m wearing these incredible Dr. Martens from my latest haul that I bought in the January sales (they’re no longer available in the sale but you can still get them on ASOS). Planning outfits around a good pair of standout boots seems to be becoming a bit of a winter-dressing habit. T
Outfit 016
Today’s outfit was inspired by these incredible platform boots by Saint Laurent. Jess of 2012 with the Jeffrey Campbells has grown up and gone to shoe heaven.
Doing More Things I Love in 2019
Like many young people these days I have a hard time not working, further compounded by my being self-employed. That doesn’t mean I don’t have downtime, but it’s all too often guiltily snatched when I hit the burnout stage, which in turn can spiral into days of unproductivity. Or I’m spending it scrolling mindlessly through social media when an afternoon suddenly turns up out of nowhere.
Outfit 015
Today I'm bringing you another outfit wearing this gorgeous jacket from Free People. This would mark exactly the second time I've worn it after the outfit I posted here but I'm trying to find more ways to style it without it being too overwhelming. Until I can pair it with floaty summer dresses, though, I've gone for an all-black ensemble featuring my new Aquazzura boots that I got for Christmas.
The Cyber Week Post
Now I know you guys must not only be feeling overwhelmed by Black Friday sales (aren’t we all?) but also the influx of posts by your fave bloggers trying to round up the best of them, too. Well, I’m here to add to that influx - sorry!
ASOS Cyber Week Picks
It’s that time again when ASOS is running a 20% student discount, and I know that lots of you guys are students so I thought I’d put together a few of my fave picks from my fave brands. It’s so easy to forget the sheer range of brands that ASOS carry, meaning you can get lots of your wishlist pieces with a significant discount!
Outfit 014
It's been a while since I last wrote a blogpost, and it feels good to be back. I'm kicking things off with an outfit post, but I have a fair few longer chattier posts in the pipeline now that I’ve finished my Master's and got a lot more time on my hands! Let me know if there's anything specific you would like to see from me in the comments though.
Outfit 013
Today I'm cracking out this gorgeous Free People jacket and I am loving it. It's such a statement piece and so beautifully fitted and structured, so to really make it shine I kept the base outfit super simple, wearing this cute little brami also from Free People and then some super ripped jeans to make it more casual.
Outfit 012
This is something I threw together for a (very) casual night out and ended up liking it. The shoes and embroidered jeans make the look that touch smarter, but that doesn't mean you couldn't easily wear it at uni or in everyday life.
Outfit 011
No matter how many times I look at these trousers, I'm still bowled over by them. I'm (unusually) loving the straight leg, the pop of blue, the way they add such a fun element to an otherwise relatively easy outfit (that old black tee/leather jacket/boot combination).
Outfit 010
This is one of those minimal-effort outfits that is nonetheless super effective and makes you feel so chic and put-together. Is it the stripes? Or the monochrome colour palette? I'm not sure, but it's the kind of thing I turn to every time I need to rush out the door but still look presentable.
Outfit 009
If there's one thing I'm certainly a sucker for clothing-wise, it's a comfy pair of trousers. The first thing I do when I get in the house is whip my bottoms off and put on something with an elasticated waistband and embrace the freedom.
Mixing Styles
I'm super excited to share with you a few outfit pictures today focussed around these Nike Air Max 1s. I feel like I have a multitude of different styles, from preppy and subdued to dark and grungy to the more sporty, streetwear side of things.
Outfit 008
There's always those items you pick up and then they hang in your wardrobe unworn for weeks, sometimes months. For two of these pieces, that was the case.
Outfit 007 | New In Topshop
Now the snow has melted and I've come out of hibernation, I'm back to share with you all an outfit formed of all but one of the latest bits I've bought from Topshop (these incredible cowboy boots are missing, inspired by both Claire Marshall and Sammi Jefcoate - I'm sure they'll turn up in a post soon enough).
Outfit 006
I have a quick little outfit for you guys today, fit for any casual day (I sped off to class after taking these pics). I'm wearing my new favourite Mom jeans; I actually bought them ages ago from Topshop but I've rediscovered them in the past few months.
Outfit 005 | Master's, Semester One
I wanted to do a little post gathering together some of my thoughts on the first semester of my Master’s course (and I've popped in the last of the Copenhagen pics, too). To be honest, it ended up a bit whiny. Oops! This is probably going to be one of those things which is more for me than useful for you guys, but I hope I can be even the tiniest bit helpful to those of you who are looking to do a postgraduate course and asked me some questions.
Outfit 004
A short and sweet little outfit from Copenhagen for you guys today. If you haven't checked out my last blogpost, I went there for a couple of days over New Year's, and I've only just now got around to sharing my outfits (oops!)
